At 'LA SAL', we are proud to offer the SSI Divemaster course, designed as the next stage after our Advanced Open Water course. This advanced program will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to rise to the professional level in recreational diving. Throughout the course, we will not only teach you to lead groups of divers and assist instructors in training new divers, but also to handle stress situations under water and provide first aid and CPR. This is crucial to ensure the safety and well-being of all divers.

Additionally, you will learn to provide guidance and supervision during dives and gain valuable knowledge about management and organization in a diving center.

The standards set by SSI to achieve Divemaster certification are clear and challenging, ensuring that only the most dedicated and competent divers achieve this level. A key requirement is the completion of at least 8 diving specialties. This requirement diversifies the diver's skills and knowledge, covering different aspects of diving and preparing them for a variety of underwater situations. It is important to note that these specialties must include React Right and Stress And Rescue, essential for the effective management of emergencies and stress situations.

Furthermore, SSI requires Divemaster candidates to accumulate a minimum of 60 logged dives, reflecting considerable practical experience and a deep commitment to diving. This volume of dives ensures that candidates have extensive experience in the water before taking on leadership roles.

The course includes:
